Abstract / Description
This podcast is produced from a recent Partners for Advancing Health Equity webinar, held November 2023. Moderated by our podcast host, Caryn Bell, she and guests discuss how recognition of structural racism, sexism, and other structural marginalization are the root causes of health inequities. However, it is not enough. Efforts to make changes on the structural level require shifts in power that center the views, experiences, and desires of the communities that experience harm. Understanding and collaboration across multiple sectors are needed to build community power to affect change.
