Abstract / Description

The Biden administration is calling for the whole of government to advance an equity agenda. The administration wants to "allocate resources to address the historic failure to invest sufficiently, justly, and equally in underserved communities, as well as individuals from those communities,” according to an executive order dated January 20, 2021. At the same time, social and racial justice movements continue to shine a light on the inequities laid bare by the COVID-19 pandemic, calling for the nation (and the world) to truly "build back better."
